Customer Profile

To reserve clubs customers must first set up their profile.  Customer’s profiles consist of personal information such as name, address, phone and email and personal password.  Customer’s personal information is held in a secure database and is not distributed or sold to any third party.  Customer credit card information is not entered into the customer’s profile and is only entered on the Prosets website when paying for an actual rental or rental package.  See our privacy policy for more details on how we handle your personal information.  Due to personal security reasons customer profiles will not be transferrable between Prosets locations.  

Reservation Policy

All customers must first set up a customer profile with PROSETS through the secure form on our website.  For security reasons, customers must have a valid credit card to reserve golf clubs with PROSETS. Customers must enter their credit card information on the secure reservation form on the website or give the information to the PROSETS representative over the phone. Reservations may be made up to 4 months in advance of the rental pick-up date.  The customer's credit card will be charged for the amount of the rental when the reservation is placed however this amount is refundable if the reservation is cancelled with at least 24 hours notice before the start of the rental period (See our cancellation policy for more details). PROSETS does not give credit or money back for early returns of rentals.

Customers who purchase Rental Packages must also have a valid credit card before they can reserve clubs. Customers must first set up a customer profile with Prosets through the website. Once the account is set up, the customer may purchase the rental packages by entering their credit card information upon checkout. The customer’s credit card will only be charged once for the cost of the package selected. Customers will then be able to make reservations for clubs through their account without having to re-enter credit card information. Rental Packages are valid till the end of the calendar year in which they are purchased.

Promotion Codes


PROSETS will from time to time offer promotion codes to individuals, groups of individuals and companies which the customer can enter on the PROSETS website upon checkout or give to the PROSETS representative to apply a discount to their rental cost.  

Cancellation Policy (Non-Executive Club Package Holders)

Cancellations may be made at any time before the actual start of the rental period. However, customers must give at least 24 hours notice prior to the start of the rental period to receive a full refund. If 24 hours notice is not given, customers will be given a credit equivalent to the original amount charged for their reservation which they can use for future reservations (Credit will be valid till the end of December 31st of the year the reservation was made). Cancellations made with at least 24 hours advance notice will not be charged any penalties and the full rental charge will be refunded to their credit card. Cash refunds will not be given. Customers must call or e-mail PROSETS with their cancellation. Van's golf shops will not be responsible for accepting cancellations on PROSETS behalf.  Rain checks are not offered.

Rental package holders not giving 24 hours notice of rental cancellation will lose the rental credits used to pay for the reservation.

IMPORTANT: PROSETS does not store customer's credit card information on our website or any database and does not give out customer's credit card information to third parties. Please read our privacy policy to become familiar with how we handle your personal information.

Damage to Clubs

The customer renting golf clubs from PROSETS agrees to pay for any damage to the clubs they are renting that is not considered normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear to the clubs includes (but is not exclusive to) scratches on the bottom of the club head, tee marks on the club head, and grip wear.  Clubs will be inspected by a Prosets or Van's Golf Shop representative prior to the rental pick-up.  A copy of the pre-rental inspection report will be included with the clubs upon pick-up.  The customer is advised to inspect the clubs, read the inspection report and mention any discrepancies to the Van's Golf Shop representative before taking the clubs so customers are not charged for loss or damage they have not incurred. 

Upon return of the clubs the customer is responsible for reporting any loss or damage to the clubs.  Failure to report loss or damage to the clubs will result in the customer’s credit card being charged an amount equivalent to the replacement or pre-rental condition repair cost.    The amount charged to the customer’s credit card will be at the discretion of PROSETS, however, PROSETS will discuss the charge with the customer prior to the their credit card being charged and will have Van's Golf Shop estimate the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged club and/or clubs. The customer will not be charged for damages due to factory defects. All clubs suspected of having factory defects will be inspected by Van's Golf Shop to confirm.

Late, Lost or Stolen Clubs

All rental clubs are to be returned by the date and time of the reservation confirmation statement and rental agreement. If clubs are not returned by the deadline on the rental agreement the customer will be charged one days rental for each day they are late up to a maximum of two days. The customer must contact PROSETS to inform of any late returns over 48 hours past the return deadline. If the customer has not contacted PROSETS within 48 hours past the rental return deadline and PROSETS has not been able to contact the customer within this time, the customer will be charged the full replacement cost of the rental clubs. If a customer has reported clubs lost, stolen or lost due to fire the customer will be responsible for payment to Prosets for the full replacement value of the clubs. If lost or stolen clubs are returned to Prosets within two weeks of the reported loss the customer will be refunded the money charged to them by Prosets minus any charges for damaged or lost clubs if applicable.


Unless prearranged with PROSETS, all pick-ups and drop offs of rental clubs will be located at the Van's Golf Shop within their business hours. Pick-up and Drop-off times will be sent to the customer at the time of reservation confirmation.  Van's Golf Shop will not wait or extend their business hours for late rental returns or pick-ups.  All late fees are subject to applicable state and city taxes.

Delivery and/or pick-up of Clubs

Delivery requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to rental start date and must be arranged with Prosets by phone or email after the rental reservation has been made.  Deliveries may be subject to a charge at time of check-out. 

PROSETS and/or Van's Golf Shops will not be responsible for non-accidental damage beyond normal wear and tear, loss due to theft, force of nature or loss due to fire. The customer agrees to indemnify and save harmless Prosets and/or Van's Golf Shops from any claim. PROSETS and/or Van's Golf Shops will not be held responsible for any damage or bodily injury incurred upon anything or anyone by the rental clubs.

Rent 3 and get one free program

Customers who rent 3 sets of clubs will automatically get a rental credit added to their account.  This rental credit may be applied towards future rentals only.  This offer is not valid with any other offer such as promotion codes and previously earned credits. Customers who rent clubs using promotion codes to give them discounts on the rentals will not have those rentals purchased counted towards receiving a bonus credit. Customers using rental credits previously accrued or purchased to pay for their rentals will not be able to earn a free rental credit through this offer.  These rental credits are only valid in the state/province that they are awarded in.   p>
